My favourite book and film

I'm not sure which is my favourite book because all that I have read have something special on it, like its message or the meaning to me.

(You probably have seen this picture before.)
If I had to do tell some of my favourites ones, I think I would choose "El Túnel" from Ernesto Sabato (an Argentine writer), "La Metamorfosis" from Franz Kafka, and "Fahrenheit 451" from Ray Bradbury. All of them I read on school.

I like them because of all the main characters have something to say, an emotional problem that they couldn't resolve at the beginning of the story. In "El Túnel" Juan Pablo Castel have killed a woman and he tells along the book the reasons why he did that (he was a little psycho). Then, in "La Metamorfosis" Gregor Samsa woke up transformed as a giant insect, like a coackrach and along the story he tells his feelings. Finally, on the dystopia "Fahrenheit 451" Montag realized that he didn't want to burn more books and broke the paradigm of perfect world that some people made him believe.

You can read it so fast because of the story move fast, that could make you lose the notion of time!

Besides, my favourite film is Shrek. The story begins with a ogre who will fight for his swamp and then finished finding the love.

I watched it when I was 6 years old, and I like since then, because I empathize with his anger about the prejudices that people have of him.

All the adventures and dismisses that he has along the movie makes it so funny! The music is so great and the characters has its own strong personality.

And just because it is made of cartoon, doesn't mean that grown up people can't watch it!

A photograph you like

I think that a photograph is a picture full of memories, and because I like to remember past times, take photographs let me have things to think about.

I like to take photos all the time, to the sky, my plant (a peach tree jeje), the hill behind my house, flowers, and everything that could symbolize important moments to me.

I think this is one of my favourites, I took it the last summer on vacations with my best friend. We finished school and finally we were free from all the study stuff so we was very relaxed. She invited me to the house of her family in Viña del Mar and we shared such a great time together and with her funny cousins.

The sunset the last day we were there.
It was taken on December 13th. 2016, the last evening we were there. I like how shine the lights form the buildings in black, the blue colors from the sky and the seems calm ocean, and the small line yellow from the sun that was hiding. For me it shows the ending of a great one-week-long-holiday, and a big step on our friendship.

I will always be thankful for receiving me and being so kind all the time I was there. And I would like to repeat at least one-week-long-holiday with her again this summer! This time I could invite her :)

Music in My Life

I think all people has its own Soundtrack of Life. What does it mean? Well, it's like in every moment of your life (childhood or youth, for example) you have one song which its melody and letter fits with your feelings or the situation, or just maybe you like it because it was “the hit” of that season and it gets into your soundtrack.

For me, music has been present along all my life. When I was a child my mom turned every day the radio on, she listened romantic songs (in Spanish) from the 70's to 00’s so as you can suppose I know all that old and classic songs. Sometimes the radio was on at any dial, so that’s why one of the first song that I can remember when I was 3yo is Objection (Tango) from Shakira.

Then, when I was growing up I listened to pop music because of the influence of my oldest sister and I liked because the melody was so happy. I still like 90’s-00’s pop bands: Backstreet boys, N’Sync, Spice Girls.

Finally, when I was 13 or 14 I started to search new music to play on my mp4. At that age, I realized that I liked Rock music (specifically the Alternative and Punk one) for example: Franz Ferdinand and The Offspring, I liked the combination of the guitar, bass and drums, and the letter of the songs. I remember that I wanted to play the electric guitar then I realized that I prefer look and listen to people playing it than me trying to learn. But back then I didn't found all the music on my own, I had the influence of my best friend, who showed me one of the first bands that I like the most: Foo Fighters (on the video one of my favourite songs).

Now I still like that music, but also, I listen to songs from different musicians, for example: this week I have sticked on my mind Stolen Dance from a German band called Milky Chance, and the last week I listened a lot an 80's song called Brother Louie from Modern Talking. And I like 70's and 80's music because the rhythms are so cheerful and swinging, that’s why I play one playlist from Spotify called "Retrovisor" which has a lot of classics from that years (YMCA, In the Navy, I Will Survive, Karma Chameleon). Also, I like every song that let me dance, sing or just appreciate every instrument (such as Brahms, Wagner, Rossini, Chopin). Except for bachata, I hate of what it sing about.

Through the time, I always had songs (from every and more bands and singers that I said before) that has a special meaning and I hope to have more for the rest of my life.
